It went really well. The harescramble entries were up from last year, so that was good. It rained a good bit on Friday, so the track turned kind of messy, but other than that everything went really well!OFFROADVIKING.com
So did you get to ride any or did you just work the event?MM aka REALLY FAST CHICK aka THE FIRST LADY OF OFFROAD
I just worked all weekend!! lol My brother got to do all the riding and cleanup work, while I did all the scoring. But with the conditions, I think I got the better end of the situation! =) Like I told someone there, by getting the opportunity to put this race on each year, it allows me to see the other side of the races and makes me appreciate the promoters off all the races that we do go to.OFFROADVIKING.com
Yeah anytime you can avoid the mud it's a good day. Now the vintage race was a fundraiser for ISDE correct?MM aka REALLY FAST CHICK aka THE FIRST LADY OF OFFROAD
Yea. It came about last year when AMA and AHRMA split ways and AMA then was in charge of running VMD at Mid-Ohio. AMA came to me and asked if I would like the opportunity to work with them to put the race on. It was around the time last year that I was trying to come up with different fund raiser to do for the ISDE, so I thought that it was a good idea and took the opportunity. This year I added the Spaghetti dinner on Saturday night and that was a fund raiser to go towards Cory Buttrick and I for Mexico.OFFROADVIKING.com
So how far along is the funding for the ISDE team? Would you say that you guys are close to your financial goal for the 6 day?MM aka REALLY FAST CHICK aka THE FIRST LADY OF OFFROAD
This was really the first thing that I've done this year. It went really good between the 2 events, but there is still a ways to go before the goal is met. With the 6days being later in the year this year (Nov.) it gives us a bit more time to fundraise. Hopefully we can plan another spaghetti dinner for later in the year.OFFROADVIKING.com

I have a PayPal account set up that we used the last couple of years for t-shirt sales and donations. The account is mandi@teamoffcamber.com any donations can be made through there and if indicated where they would like money to be donated to such as; Cory Buttrick, Mandi Mastin, Jr. Team or Women's Team I will defiantly make sure that the money is distributed correctly. Nicole Bradford and Kerrie Swartz. This will be Kerrie's first ISDE and Nicole has ridden probably 5x. Nicole was on the Women's team the year that we won the World Cup in 2007 in ChileOFFROADVIKING.com
Sounds like you guys will have a good group this year. Now switching over to the GNCC thing. How has this season been for you so far?MM aka REALLY FAST CHICK aka THE FIRST LADY OF OFFROAD
Yea, I'm really excited for this year and the team! As for the GNCC this year, it has been a pretty bumpy ride. I've had a roller coaster ride of a season. It seems like one weekend will go good and the next not so much. Or maybe the first part of a race good and then it all falls apart. I'm hoping that the second half of the season goes better. I've taken the last couple of weeks off, kinda to relax and get my mind back on track. I think that I've been so busy with other things up until now, that I've mentally slacked on the racing side...I feel like the first part of the year, mentally I struggled with staying focused. With a little break now, I feel like I got that drive back and ready to start racing and winning again.OFFROADVIKING.com
Well there is no doubt that you know how to win races and championships. As far as points go you're not that far behind Maria. What would you have to do in order to take the points lead and win another championship?MM aka REALLY FAST CHICK aka THE FIRST LADY OF OFFROAD
I think with her win at Snowshoe and my 3rd she has pretty much locked up the championship. So I am racing to secure 2nd place the rest of the season.OFFROADVIKING.com
