Awesome! So first things first...How's the season been treating you thus far?
Maria “Smokin’ Fast” Forsberg
It’s been really good so far. I’ve been really happy with my results, KTM and all of the awesome people i have met!

For sure! Now with the lead you have at this point in the season, it's pretty safe to say that the Women's Championship is yours to lose. What would you consider the biggest (if any) challenge that you have faced thus far in GNCC?
Maria “Smokin’ Fast” Forsberg
The biggest challenge would probably be the traveling for me. I work 40 hours a week so I have to fly out of WA. State on Friday night and then back home Sunday night. This way I don’t miss any work.

You've came very close to winning the overall this year. What more do you feel that you need to do in order to make it happen?

ha-ha! I hope that day will come. I think i got 5th overall at Loretta’s.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you did ;) Many of the top guys are doing a lot of MX as cross training. What are some things besides riding that you do to help prepare you for GNCC?

I run a lot with my dog, ride whenever i can and do p90x workout videos:)

Awesome! You gotta love some Tony Horton! Who would you credit for getting you into racing?

ha-ha yeah Tony Horton! My mom and dad met riding motorcycles, so definitely them.

That's cool..So do you have any plans nailed down for 2011? Will we see you back in the GNCC series racing against Mandi and the other girls?

I sure hope so but nothing is for sure yet.

As good as you have been doing in the overall, have you considered doing the 3 hour race later this year once the title is locked in?
